1965 Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Saloon for sale. MOD, Old English White with red leather and wire wheels. This 1965 3.8 Mk2 was assembled at Jaguar's plant in South Africa in 1965 and owes it's remarkable coachwork to the kind climate. It was converted to manual overdrive prior to being repatriated in 1999 and has had two owners since . It has covered an indicated 83000 miles but has only done about 1000 miles in the UK. In that time it has been fitted with new hubs and spinners and has silver painted wires with 185x15 Vredestein radials. The non dating number 221 GKM is included and the file contains all old MOTs,registration documents from South Africa, Heritage certificate and invoices for work carried out in the UK. Recent work has included new UJs and rebalancing of the propshaft ,a high torque starter,coil,wheel bearings,track rod ends and it has an MOT till 29/11/2013. The car has a twin stainless system and sounds lovely. Paintwork,chrome and interior are all in decent order and the 3.8 delivers lively performance. The seats ,in common with other S.A built Jaguars, are in leathercloth and the headlining has been replaced.
