1979 Honda CX500 for sale Honda's CX500 was so popular and such a practical machine to ride and ride and ride and .... well most of them went on to cover vast mileages and be well and truly worn out. Low value has meant that restoration was not undertaken and the result is that very few remain in reasonable order 30 years on. Condition. Our bike is an original UK registered machine, 1st August 1979 on a "V" plate. It has had only 4 registered keepers from new and is showing 29278 miles. It is a very original and unrestored bike with faded paintwork and chrome, it could fairly be described as a little tatty but respectable. It rides well and has been in regular use. Paperwork includes an original owners hand book. NB The bike's rev counter drive is un-serviceable. The bike has been inspected, road tested by us over 30+ miles. It will also be given an additional pre-delivery inspection and road test. Delivery is available in our van at 45p/mile, charged on total mileage. Indicated mileage is 29278 miles.
